  1. Welcome to the world of Blogging. I am so glad to see yet another Indian Tester who has decided to blog. Hope, I will see this blog still "breathing" even after 1,2,3... years. :)

However, I think I need clarification on what you actually tried to mean by I immensely respect Manual Testing Don't you use *ANY* tools while testing? Not even mouse, keyboard, display monitor, your own AUT... ;)

P.S. I'm almost sure that you are aware of the term "Sapient Testing". If not feel free to Google it!

  2. Hi Debasis,
Every question asked makes me think deeper and question the question in itself.

The reason I said 'immensely respect Manual Testing' is because in most part of my life as a Tester so far, I have worked amidst quite a lot of people who think Manual Testing is a junk job and that Automation is a Superb concept etc, etc. Though I am neither for or against Automation at this point(I am still figuring out myself :-)), I want to be clear on what I enjoy the most doing RIGHT NOW - Manual Testing.

    Hope this answers your question,

    Thanks,

  5. But I found some think more to say, bug in your blog. Wow! I am happy as a tester where ever I see a bug.
Description: Subscribe to Email option is missing

Under "Subscribe By Email" option present at right bottom corner, you have given options to subscribe via feed reader. I am not able to find any option to subscribe via email.

I cannot emphasize how much I am bugged with blogger.com. Until, I find a better platform, I have to put up with it. Please read this post 'http://curioustester.blogspot.com/2009/07/never-give-up-atleast-i-did-not.html'.

Thanks for reporting this and please continue to share it whenever you find them. It helps a lot!

[I cannot emphasize how much I am bugged with blogger.com]
That is the reason why I didn’t choose blogger.com even though I am a huge fan of Google.
With my experience from wordpress.com I am providing this suggestion. I think you have added a "Subscription Links" Gadget which doesn’t give option to subscribe via email. So you may edit the Title of the gadget to read like "Subscribe to blog" or "Web Syndication”. This can be done by clicking on the edit option of that gadget under Layout-->Page Elements
You may need to find another gadget which allows us to subscribe via email.

  9. I am able to see all 6 options now but earlier one option for comments is missing. But my earlier concern is about the title "Subscribe Via Email",which is misleading. Because that does not have any option to subscribe via email. That is a option to subscribe via feed reader

  11. Thanks for accepting my suggestion

Now looking into the issue 1 from the http://curioustester.blogspot.com/2009/07/never-give-up-atleast-i-did-not.html and going through "BlogSpot - 24th Jun 09" experience report from Scribd,i think the issue is Right Hand Side bar Frame ends immediately after the last gadget. But since the dropdown bar is crossing that when you keep "Subscribe Link" as last or last but one, displays truncated options.I've mailed you the screenshots.

Thanks to Google Cached page which helped me to go back to your older version to test it again :).And of course thanks to you for detailing, which interested me to dig more into this. This shows the power of detailed documenting in testing.
